As the Advertising Manager at the NT News in Darwin I was excited our organisation was able to secure  inXcess to facilitate our browsebidandbuy.com.au auction. The creation of new opportunities with clients is paramount to success in our business and the inXcess auction program provided an acquisition strategy for clients who previously had not advertised with us. It gave them the means to advertise in our products that they may not have necessarily had. Through the auction the NT News has been able to give our clients the privilege of choice when looking at advertising as we were able to offer newspaper solutions, magazine offerings and online opportunities. Overall the technology for the auction platform worked very well providing all of the reporting functionality I needed and the support from the inXcess team was great. What we aim to do for our next program is simple – more product and increase bidders, we learnt so much from the first year so I am confident we can continue to grow our auction site.
